The collection of light rays is one of the most impressive effects that can be achieved with fluorescent plastics. UV light is collected on the surface (in the surface or through the surface to be precise) of a substance and is released at its edges.
The „purer“ the plastic and the better the fluorescent agent, the greater the possible effect. The factors to be employed are transmission, emission, remission, reflection and retroflection.
This effect is particularly impressive at early dusk. Visible light fades, but UV light is still present.
